Kidney Transplant program launched at Las Palmas
Las Palmas Medical Center is pleased to announce the formation of the Kidney Transplant Program. Dr. Hector Diaz- Luna, a 15-year specialist in Kidney Transplants, is the Medical Director for the newly formed program.

"Las Palmas Medical Center is very pleased to be able to offer this much needed service to the Region. We are especially thankful that Doctor Diaz-Luna has agreed to lead the effort," says Hank Hernandez, Chief Executive Officer of Las Palmas Medical Center.

Welcome to the Las Palmas Medical Center website. Put simply, each and every employee and affiliate of Las Palmas Medical Center is committed to the care and improvement of human life. We see ourselves as more than just a healthcare facility. Las Palmas Medical Center employs 845 individuals who work everyday to provide the absolute best in patient care. Our 317-bed hospital is an acute care facility that specializes in Cardiology, Women's Services, Labor & Delivery, Polly's Pediatric Place, Oncology Services, and Emergency Medicine.

We are excited at the opportunity to offer an even better level of service and commitment to healthcare, and in doing so, have opened our new Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit. Las Palmas Medical Center is also pleased to announce the opening of the Las Palmas Rehabilitation Hospital. The Rehabilitation Hospital is a forty-bed in-patient rehabilitation center that specializes in treating medically stable patients with orthopedic problems, strokes, and other neurological diagnosis, multiple trauma, brain and spinal cord injury, arthritis and amputation.
